Our University continues to maintain its awareness of environmental sustainability and its green campus goals in the international arena. According to the results of the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025, one of the world's most respected sustainability rating platforms, KTÜN has secured its place among 1,745 universities evaluated on a global scale.
The UI GreenMetric 2025 ranking, which evaluates the campus environments, infrastructures, and environmentally friendly policies of universities worldwide, has been announced. Accelerating its academic and physical infrastructure efforts for a sustainable future, our University has entered this prestigious list, thereby validating its awareness of environmental responsibility on an international platform.
STRONG PERFORMANCE IN EDUCATION AND RESEARCH
In the evaluation conducted under 6 main headings, our University drew attention particularly with the score it received in the "Education & Research" category. This category encompasses sustainability courses within the university curriculum, academic publications in this field, and student projects.

GOAL: A SUSTAINABLE AND GREEN CAMPUS
With the motto "Pioneer of Development," our University aims to combine its technical infrastructure with environmental sustainability principles. Participation in the UI GreenMetric ranking carries strategic importance in terms of analyzing the university's current status and determining the roadmap for future years.
In light of the data obtained, our University also aims to increase infrastructure investments regarding energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste management, and to elevate its position in the rankings in the coming years.
